Based on past experience, many people often confuse the concepts of DOS and CMD when posting for help. The post clearly says it's a DOS problem, but after multiple rounds of replies and discussions, it turns out to be a CMD problem. My reply in the 2nd floor was to confirm with the owner whether they had confused DOS and CMD, but I was deducted 2 points by the administrator DOSroot.



I don't care about the deduction of points. As long as there is a reasonable reason, it's deserved to have all my points deducted. I just want to ask the administrator DOSroot what the standard for deducting points is?

Does my reply violate any rule of "DOS Troubleshooting & Problem Discussion (Answer Room)"?
Or violate any regulation of "China DOS Union Forum"?
Or violate any intention of administrator DOSroot?

For the post you mentioned, the question in the topic clearly says it's under DOS, but you went to answer it under CMD. Of course, I know you meant well, knowing that many people say DOS but actually mean CMD. But the reason is exactly what I said earlier, it's better not to be too "enthusiastic" about those people. And from this example, the problem he mentioned does indeed need to be solved under DOS, and your "kindness" is actually leading people to CMD. So I think in the DOS section, neither non-DOS topics should be posted nor non-DOS questions should be answered.
