China DOS Union

We know Windows has a "blue sky and white clouds" background image, right? So DOS, too, ought to have a dedicated background image of its own (and not just a LOGO) ... What do you all think this DOS-specific background image should look like? Why not try designing one? Later it could even be put into the DOS boot disks we make as a startup LOGO...

As for this DOS background image, I guess it would just be a promotional picture for DOS and the Union; it wouldn't necessarily be put into the boot disk.

How about this: a red sun in the middle, gorgeous rosy clouds beside it, and all around an endless green grassland?

Using the Great Wall would be better, because that gives it Chinese characteristics and can also show the ability of Chinese DOS fans.

I want to advocate blue, a blue like the blue of the sky. How about this instead: in the foreground, a somewhat lush green lawn, kind of like XP's wallpaper; in the distance, a boundless blue sky; and in the middle of the picture, some logo elements can be placed, for example that little emblem I made for the China DOS Union.

Going by what you said, this one fits the requirements very well......

This picture really does look a lot like what I described, but it's still a bit too complicated! You have to remember, the more complex the picture and the more colors it has, the larger the image file will be and the slower it will display. So I only want a lush green lawn and boundless blue sky as the background.

Anyway, if it's being used as a LOGO, then as a BMP image it's the same size as long as it's uncompressed!
And what's so bad about pretty-girl pictures?
Do you know about the eyeball effect?
Just look and see how many ads on the street have something to do with pretty girls.
Don't they still use pretty girls in advertising all the same?
But of course there has to be a DOS icon in it.
Look at more advertisements,
then revise it?
I think everyone admits this LOGO is meant to be used for advertising, right?
That's the purpose of making this LOGO in the first place, isn't it!
