vmware installs msdos 7.1. After installing the Microsoft Network Client and then setting up to install TCP/IP, after selecting TCP/IP, it prompts:
please insert oem driver disk in the following drive Then set the path, but I have already put the VMware network driver disk, and putting the MNC A disk and B disk doesn't work... What exactly is the oem driver disk? |

Set up TCP\IP and there are problems again. Enter net view
error 6118 : The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available. net use z: \\computerA\share error 53: the computer name specified in the network path cannot be located. ping \\computerA Remote name cannot be resolved ping 192.168.1.100 computerA's IP Successfully pinged ipconfig Usage: c:\net\ipconfig.exe <lanroot> What's going on?? Can any big shot explain connecting to the workgroup?? |

Check if the gateway is set, do not set it as the local machine IP, and check if the machine to be accessed has a firewall
