Many programs come with options like /U and so on; you can use them to free up memory. Or you can use some dedicated tools, such as RamInit, TSR Utils, etc. They can automatically clear programs from memory to free conventional memory, and can be downloaded from "Memory Management" on the original site.

The RamInit and TSR Utils mentioned above will do; you can download them here as a package from the original site:

My mistake, sorry
![]() Can you tell me a command? Because my own hard drive can't boot. I'm posting this question from someone else's home right now. |

Sheesh, you're asking a question, right? How about first taking a look at the thread "How to Ask Questions the Smart Way", okay?

DOS itself doesn't have a dedicated command for freeing memory; if you need that function, you'll need other tools, like the ones mentioned above.

The best tool I've used is Gong Chengbing's GH95. It can remove programs from UMB, such as UCDOS.

I've tried GH95, but found its compatibility is still just average.

Learn how to ask questions first.
And change your post title to something better. For posts with titles like this, from now on there are only three possible outcomes: 1。Nobody pays attention to them. (This is the best case.) 2。They get moved to the off-topic section. 3。They get deleted. |
