I have a very troubling problem and would like to ask everyone for advice.
Here’s the situation. My machine is a Lenovo Tongxi model 160. When I bought it, it came with WINDOWS XP installed, but later I
found it wasn’t very good to use. I wanted to reinstall the system. I installed WINDOWS 98 and formatted the original XP, but when it got
halfway through, the hard drive would no longer let it format. Then after pressing Enter, it started formatting halfway again. The hard drive is 20G.
So I’d like to ask you for advice!

I suggest you use the software SPFDISK to partition and format it. It’s much faster too. Partitioning and formatting my 120G hard drive takes less than 3 minutes!
