Please, friends, help me out
In order to install the newly bought RED HAT LINUX8.0, I mistakenly clicked the “format all partitions” button.
But I didn't expect that halfway through the installation, because one program file was damaged, it failed to install properly. I was so mad I almost smashed my head into the wall and died.
And when I wanted to format the hard disk and reinstall WINDOWS98, the hard disk format had already become EXT16, so I couldn't use “FORMAT” to format it back! (I don't know what method to use to change it back!) This left me having to look everywhere for experts to help me.
When I think of the files and programs on the hard disk that I painstakingly downloaded, all killed off by a moment of my own impulse. (I really liked LINUX too much, that's why I had this kind of impulse.) And now I really want WINDOWS98 back, to return to the original one I loved most.
I wonder if any friends can solve this little problem of mine. Who can help me???
