A 700M gold CD-R, because of a mistake during operation, only got a bit over 100M of data written to it... There are still more than 600M left, and I don't know if there's any way to save it...

That depends on how you burned it. If you used multisession burning and didn't close the CD, then you can still append data to it.

No need to cry your eyes out over one disc, at least your experience points went up, right?!

The following is quoted from savioler's post at 2003-7-3 17:51:11: Can't you speak Mandarin? What are you showing off your Cantonese for here? Teacher Mo is also Cantonese, and I haven't seen him do this. |

It doesn't seem to say here that Cantonese is not allowed. So what about me? Funny. I didn't insult anybody, what's the problem,

If nobody had said you were speaking Cantonese, I'd have thought you were farting.

This forum is aimed at all Chinese people, so everyone is asked to use standard vernacular Chinese as much as possible. Random use of dialects is equivalent to creating division, which is not beneficial to the development of the Union.
Therefore, random use of dialects is listed in the Union rules as unwelcome behavior. savioler, not only did you randomly use dialect, you also used vulgar wording. Here I am giving you a warning first. If you still do not correct it, please leave here; otherwise your posts will be deleted and your ID will be banned. Regionalism is actually somewhat servile. If, because you feel you are in Guangdong, you insist on putting on a display in front of Chinese people from other places, then by that way of thinking, when facing Chinese people from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, shouldn't you be bowing and scraping? And if you got to New York or London, you'd probably have no choice but to wag your tail and beg. |

This time savioler really should be criticized a bit; just improve it and that'll be fine... But in my impression his DOS skills seem to be pretty good too...
