Long ago, when I was still using Windows 98, one time my system crashed. Since I was a computer newbie, my friend introduced me to a master to fix my computer.

He looked at the computer and asked me if I had a Windows 98 disk. I said I didn't.

He thought for a moment and asked me to hand him the landline phone. I wondered why I needed a phone to fix the computer, but since he was a master, I didn't dare say anything and pulled the phone out and gave it to him.

He connected the empty end of the phone line to a jack on the computer, then entered DOS, and then kept pressing keys on the phone. He pressed the keys very fast, but only the 0 and 1 keys. I didn't understand what this was for, but I didn't dare ask. After watching for more than half an hour, he still kept pressing these two keys. I gradually got a bit sleepy. I asked him how long this would take, and he said it would take a few hours. I made him a cup of tea and then went to sleep next door by myself.

When I woke up, I saw that more than 4 hours had passed. I got up and went to the next door and saw him debugging in Windows 98. After a while, he said, "You try it." I sat down in the chair and used it. It really worked. I didn't understand computers back then, thanked him and left.

Later, I gradually learned more about computers and finally understood that the master at that time had written a Windows 98 system in machine language. Later, I asked my friend about the master's whereabouts, and my friend said that he went to the United States a few years ago and has been out of touch ever since....

Long time ago, when I was still using winXP, once my system crashed. Since I was a computer novice, my friend introduced a expert to fix my computer for me.

He looked at the computer and asked me if I had an XP installation disc. I said I didn't.

He thought for a moment and asked me to give him an empty DVD recordable disc and a needle. I wondered what a recordable disc and a needle were for in fixing the computer, but since he was an expert, I didn't say anything. So I gave him a DVD recordable disc.

He aimed the needle at the recordable disc and poked it. He poked very fast, but only made the holes deep or shallow. I didn't understand what this was for, but I didn't dare to ask. After watching for more than half an hour, he still kept poking the DVD recordable disc. I gradually got sleepy. I asked him how long this would take. He said it would take several hours. I made him a cup of tea and went to sleep next door alone.

When I woke up, I saw that more than 4 hours had passed. I got up and went to the next door and saw him debugging in Xp and installing software like office, photoshop, Thunder, World of Warcraft... After a while, he said, "You try it." I sat on the chair and tried it. It really worked. I didn't understand computers at that time, thanked him and left.

Later, I gradually learned about computers and finally understood that the expert at that time had poked a single - sided double - layer DVD with a needle and burned the installation programs of XP, office, photoshop, World of Warcraft in it. Later I asked my friend about the expert's whereabouts. My friend said he went to the United States a few years ago and then vanished without a trace....

Long long ago, when I was still using winXP, one time I accidentally formatted the D drive. Because I was a computer newbie, my friend introduced a master to help me recover the data.

He looked at the computer and asked me if I had ever backed up Ghost. I said no.

He thought for a moment and asked me to give him a magnet, and also asked what was in the D drive. I thought why a magnet was needed for fixing a computer, but since he was a master, I didn't say anything and gave him the magnet, and also told him that the D drive was full of Naruto animations.

He disassembled the hard drive, used the magnet to draw circles on it. The speed at which he drew the circles was very fast, but it was just touching or not touching. I didn't understand what this was for, but I didn't dare to ask. After watching for more than half an hour, he still kept drawing circles on the hard drive. I gradually got a bit sleepy. I asked him how long this would take, and he said it would take a few hours. I made him a cup of tea and went to sleep next door alone.

When I woke up, I saw that more than 4 hours had passed. I got up and went to the next door, and saw him debugging in the D drive. There were all Naruto animations in it. After a while, he said, "You try it." I sat on the chair and tried it, and it really worked. I didn't understand computers at that time, thanked him and left.

Later, I gradually learned more about computers and finally understood that the master at that time was directly writing data on the hard drive with a magnet, relying on amazing memory to write all the Naruto animations into the hard drive. Later, I asked my friend about the master's whereabouts, and my friend said that he went to the UK a few years ago and has been out of touch ever since....
