After downloading the corresponding version, extract winboot.98s from winrar, which is io.sys.
Someone in the forum mentioned an update, but I don't know where it comes from and what was updated. The original page is posted here.

Also saw that Microsoft has an update for the fdisk of 98se:
Fdisk cannot recognize the actual size of a hard disk larger than 64 GB

Then it seems that there are three different versions of IO.SYS for MS-DOS 7.10 (Win 98 SE) in the future:
The original IO.SYS of Windows 98 SE (1999 version)
Wengier version of IO.SYS
IO.SYS of the 2001 version

Okay, I downloaded both the English version and the simplified Chinese version of Windows 98 SE without any problems. I didn't download others. Why can't you download?

There are too many versions of io.sys. There is a very good LZ-DOS. But it is not modified from the Chinese 98se io.sys:

Is the update logic locked?

Today it can be downloaded again, but the traditional Chinese version of ME and 98 cannot be downloaded!
