I don't know if there is any. A tool to make a bootable ISO for booting at startup is also okay..... I want to install the system without a CD drive, I know there are many methods to install the system without a CD drive, but I just want this tool because it's the most convenient.... If there is, please send it, thanks!

It's for the XP system.

This also depends on what system you are using to install, and what system's ISO the ISO is.

If it is the installed version of Deepin and YLMF, it should be okay. The key is whether your version will look for files on the CD drive during installation. If it does, then it's bad because GRUB can't virtualize an ISO CD drive.

The boot ISO always seems not to succeed. If it boots, it's also an ISO with an image like DOS as the head.

For example, boot CIA Commander 2. It is a 2M ISO. The hard disk boot can't succeed. GRUB boot won't succeed either. Such a good tool. Can't use it, very headache.

If you want the bootable ISO to be like booting from a CD, this problem is basically very difficult. The compatibility is very bad.

This CIA commander 2 is an eternal problem. Not to mention that GRUB cannot boot it, even if you burn it to a disc, it cannot be booted.
It is said that only by digging a hole of appropriate size in a certain position of the disc can it be started.

The datapol company that released this software was also acquired long ago.

Installing an OS from an ISO without a CD drive

That's exactly what I did

Here's an idea for the thread starter, not sure if it works for you

——Directly mass-produce the ISO to a USB drive
Then the USB drive becomes a USB CD drive

Not just XP, you can even install MAC OS

I have only successfully mass-produced one and it worked successfully to boot and install. After that, I never succeeded again. As long as when the XP installation disc switches from the English black screen to the Chinese interface, it blue-screens and crashes. I still haven't solved it so far, but I know it's related to the parameters of the software that generates the ISO.

Reply to the upstairs

One of the most important factors for U disk mass production into CDROM and successful booting and running is the main control chip of the U disk

The currently known most compatible one is Phison

Representative products: Apacer Smile Drive, Iron Man

Booting success rate is over 95%

If you just want to install a system like XP and don't want to extract the ISO file all over the disk.
Still use grub4dos to boot a DOS, remember to load himem.sys smartdrv.exe.
SHSUCDHD /F:isofile
SHSUCDX /D:SHSU-CDH,Z
This ISO is simulated as drive Z. Then go to run winnt.exe inside to install. Is that okay?
This package has been posted by the moderator in the forum. Search for LoadISO to find it
