When I used Grub4DOS version 0.4.4, I did "bootlace --floppy --chs floppy.img" and then configured menu.lst and boot/grub/fonts and the Chinese Grldr. The Chinese menu didn't show up, it paused for a while, and then I entered the Grub4DOS command line. But when I used the English version of Grldr, the garbled menu was displayed normally.
But the same method had no problem with Grub4DOS 0.4.3, and the full Chinese menu was shown. What is the reason for this? I look forward to the answers from Grub4DOS experts! How to make the .img display the Chinese menu of Grub4DOS version 0.4.4? [ Last edited by xiaoyunwang on 2008-10-20 at 12:49 ] |

To display in Chinese, in addition to using the grldr and grub.exe in the chinese directory with the Chinese patch in the download package, you also need to download the font library. And use the fontfile command to load it at the beginning of menul.lst. For example:
find --set-root /boot/grub/fonts.gz fontfile /boot/grub/fonts.gz [ Last edited by zw2312914 on 2008-10-25 at 19:14 ] |
