Thanks. I want to ask, I once successfully mapped a drive in DOS using XP, but then it hasn't succeeded once. Every time the DOS system is shared well, when using XP to map, it always can't find the network path. Checking NET VIEW \\computer name in the DOS system always prompts error 51. After deleting the share and trying to share again and checking NET VIEW \\computer name, it can work again. As soon as XP tries to map, the above situation ERROR 51 appears again.
What should I do? PING 127.0.0.1 is okay, and it is connected with XP, but I don't know the reason.

Accessing DOS - shared files from XP can only be done by mapping a drive letter. If the DOS machine can't be found in XP's Network Neighborhood, one has to keep searching and then try mapping, which is practically meaningless, very unstable, and has slow speed with frequent disconnections. NET VIEW is very hard to execute successfully.
