The full Chinese DOS boot disk, of course, emphasizes the use of Chinese during the use process. However, this is not equal to the general Chinese boot disks on the Internet. But this also raises a question: Does DOS not support CDs with Chinese volume labels at all? If it doesn't support, then why can it support hard disk volume labels in Chinese?

Maybe your CD is not in ISO9660 standard. All the drive letters of my CD are Chinese volume labels. I burned it with NERO, and the drive letter is always "New". But there is no problem with reading. Whether it supports long filenames should be checked with DIR /P. If long filenames appear on the right, it means it supports. NC, PCT, etc., do not support long filenames, and it looks like that.

HD-copy, whether in Chinese or English, requires a clock. However, both pdos95 and ucdos do not support it. Only tw and ccdos support it!
