Last night I tried it on a bad 810M hard disk. That hard disk had two partitions, 650M and 160M. I had originally planned to install WIN98, but because of bad sectors it failed. After checking with HDD Regenerator, a total of 42 bad sectors were found and it reported them repaired. The bad sectors were mainly concentrated toward the back.
After it was done, I FORMATted drive D twice. Aside from one place reporting a problem, formatting speed was very even everywhere else. I used SCANDISK to check drive D, and some of the last part of D had already been marked as bad sectors, while the surface scan passed smoothly.
Then I copied WIN98 Second Edition (139M) to drive D and installed it, and it succeeded completely. The repair effect was quite satisfying. It seems its hard disk repair capability really is fairly strong.
I checked a second time and found one bad sector, and it reported it already repaired.
I also used HD-COPY to copy the disk, and the copied floppy could also be used, so this software set is not very heavily encrypted. As long as you make a backup with HD, you can make a repair floppy anytime later.
This thing actually has only two files. I copied it to a USB flash drive, but it gave an error and could not be used. I guess it limits itself to being used on drive A. Even SUBST couldn't fool it. If some friend could modify it so it can be used on any drive, that would be great. Since it is 850K and only 300K after compression, it could be made into a pretty good repair disk. But after running it needs to write data, so it has to be placed on a writable disk.

What is the largest hard disk it supports?

Also: can someone make an image of the original disk and upload it? The two files uploaded by Teacher Mo give a message saying it is an illegal original disk and can't be used~~~

Actually, I now have an even bigger hard disk of over 500MB too... who knows how many times better it is than that 80MB hard disk!!
