I have a floppy disk in MS-DOS format. A normal COPY to make a duplicate disk cannot be used!
The files on the original disk and the duplicate are identical.
The filenames are as follows: 1.Freepass 2.passcode 3.xxx xxxx (a person's name)
Also, the files' extensions cannot be seen.
I want to ask, what technology was used on the original disk? Can it be cracked?
Heh, I almost forgot. The floppy disk is a machine's password disk.
Thanks!

There are many kinds of encryption techniques for this... Without seeing the actual item, it's hard to make a definite judgment...

Why not just use HD-COPY to duplicate one

Using scs--40 or cp2000, as well as Chengdu Twin Star's decryption software, you can copy the protection marks. ,,,,,hd-copy can only copy cluster-by-cluster data, it can't copy the protection marks. ,,,,,,If you want to make it into an exe file, ,,,then you need very high assembly skills

No, it's just that I'm curious about its technology.
The disk belongs to our company. It can be used at any time. I wouldn't need to do things on the sly, right!
Thanks to the experts above.....
