The "Mahjong Academy" published by Soft-World is simple and not very erotic, and I personally like it a lot;
I originally used mys's "starter" version, and there were no problems at all; later I switched to a laptop, and couldn't find it here anymore. After going through a lot of trouble I found one, but then discovered that after playing two or three rounds it would ask me to insert a floppy disk, which was very depressing!
I wonder whether any of the moderators have some other version with better cracking.
