My laptop has no CD-ROM drive, only a USB mobile hard drive and a floppy drive. Right now under DOS I can't use a USB 2.0 IBM mobile hard drive! How can I use it? I downloaded MSDOS 7.1, and I read all the posts too. I followed all the methods above, but it still won't work. It can detect the IBM hard drive, but at the last step it always gives a DI1000DD.SYS error!!!!!!!!!!!! My QQ contact: 18957431 , thanks, please help me out, it's urgent!

I borrowed an original CD-ROM drive now, repartitioned the hard disk with FDISK, and repartitioned it into 3 partitions. After FDISK, I can't low-level format it. How should I deal with this? Thanks!

Yesterday I did boot with a WIN98 boot disk, and then at the A: drive I entered SYS C:, I don't know whether that's the reason it can't be low-level formatted??????????
