1. All we ever see is you saying netresq can remove logical locks, but we never see you explain how to use it, so how are we supposed to know how to use it!
2. Don't say "read the manual" or anything like that. If we could understand it, we wouldn't be posting!
3. Please have the moderator explain the function and usage of each netresq command for us!

Don't be like that... NetResq really is quite a complicated program, and only today did I basically figure out how it repairs things.

The key issue is that before the hard disk gets locked, you need to use RESQDISK to back up the partition table. Then after the hard disk is locked, boot into DOS with a floppy disk and run NetResq to restore the partition table. But if that's the case, then SRCMBR would be faster anyway, for example:

SRCMBR 0 MBR.DAT /S
Then:
SRCMBR 0 MBR.DAT /R

But this is only theory, I still haven't tried it yet (no conditions for it~~)..

If it's like the moderator said, then I'd be better off just using rescue.com to restore it.

RESCUE might work, but I can't test it now. Because that hard disk is already broken! NDD2002 is really hateful!

The following is quoted from Wengier's post on 2003-6-25 19:49:12:

It probably isn't broken. Try using DM to repartition and format it,

I just really tested it. After booting the system with an MS-DOS 7.10 boot disk, using SRCMBR to restore the backed-up MBR can completely remove the "logical lock" and restore the system! This shows just how important backing up the MBR is~~

If you back it up with kv and dm, then you won't have to worry about boot sector viruses or logical locks.
