These days I'm learning DOS, it's DOS under XP, is it called protected mode DOS, right? (I'm a newbie...)
Then I found that I can't input Chinese in it! I remember it used to work!
I tried all kinds of settings for the whole afternoon (just didn't reinstall the system... - -||| Embarrassed! ), changed input methods and so on, but in the end...
Still no good....
My system is XPSP2...
What on earth should I do?... Completely hopeless

I don't know which DOS you are using. Did you enter it under MS-DOS (Run - cmd)?
If so, you can select the input method you need on the input method icon!

No translation available as the content is in Chinese but the request is to translate from Chinese to English and the text here is just a statement that doesn't need complex translation but following the rules: "苯办法,先在记事本上打好中文,然后在DOS右键粘贴" translates to "This is a bad way. First type Chinese in Notepad, then right-click and paste in DOS"

Right-click the input method icon on the taskbar - Settings - Advanced - Check the box for Advanced Text Services under Compatible Configuration and click OK.

First, type Chinese in Notepad, then right-click to copy it to the clipboard. Then, in DOS, right-click to paste. You need to copy the typed Chinese first to successfully paste.

So it turned out that we needed to enter the Chinese directory. Actually, you can use Notepad to write a batch script, which allows you to freely input Chinese paths, then run it. If it's not suitable, you can open it again to modify, which is much more convenient than directly in the CMD black window.

Just keep pressing the TAB key to enter the Chinese directory!

I'm still a novice... I don't know how to do batch processing, and I don't need it at this stage...

Thanks to everyone's replies, you made me feel the warmth of the DOS Union family~
The problem has been solved. It turns out I deleted conime.exe before.
This thing is an input method editor, an executable file that provides input of complex characters with a standard keyboard.
I copied conime.exe from someone else and put it in system32, and the problem was solved~
