This morning when the company computer was turned on, it just showed starten von (German) MS-DOS and then froze there. Please, expert users, help! Give me a solution, urgent rescue!

Boot into the system from a CD and repair it.

There's only starten von ms-dos... nothing else.
This machine is from before 1995

starten von ms-dos means start from ms-dos

I guess something went wrong in one of the boot stages. A machine from before 1995 won't support booting from CD-ROM, so find an ms-dos boot floppy, boot from it, and check autoexec.bat and config.sys

I feel it's possible some files were deleted by mistake.
It's not easy to update the BIOS on a 1995 machine. How about trying to install linux on it? 95 is too outdated; linux can still run without X.
