I. Brief introduction to the main software:

1 WipeInfo
A good tool for zeroing a hard disk (low-level formatting), one component of NU80, small and practical, and does not damage the hard disk.

2 AWDFLASH (1996 edition)
A BIOS tool, essential for upgrading and repairing AWARD BIOS damaged by CIH. The version is a bit old (see the latest version below), but I don't use the newer one, because this one is small and doesn't take up space on a floppy disk. Besides, my machine is old, so this version is enough.

3 CMOS password cracking tools
Two tools. First, CMOS-PWD is a tool for viewing and cracking CMOS passwords, small and practical, suitable for cracking BIOS passwords on many models; second, CLS-CMOS is a CMOS password clearing tool. Of course it also clears other parts of CMOS, with the same effect as "Load factory defaults" in CMOS or the DEBUG clearing method (note: for security reasons the CLS-CMOS.COM file extension was renamed to CLS-CMOS.CO_; when using it, just change the name back to CLS-CMOS.COM and it will work).

4 DM 5.1 (1992 edition)
A low-level formatting tool. Actually it also has partitioning, formatting, and other functions, but because the version is too old and does not support FAT32, I only use its "low-level formatting" function. Its biggest difference from other "low-level formatting" tools is that it can low-level format any track (LFORMAT and BIOS-integrated ones do not have this function). The biggest advantage of this function is that it can reduce the scope of damage to the hard disk, and it is extremely fast, for example: low-level formatting track 0.
