I'm using a 2003 system. For example, if I need to open a piece of software, its shortcut is on drive D and is called 111.lnk (the shortcut and the software itself are both in the same directory on D).
If I directly double-click this shortcut, it opens the software normally.
But if I enter D:\111.lnk at the command line, what pops up is the "Open With" window.
If I use the command start D:\111.lnk to open it, it also pops up the "Open With" window.
Why is this happening? I don't know whether anyone else has run into this problem.
I tried the two commands above on other computers, and both could open the software successfully. Only this computer can't.
