Just install a virtual floppy disk, and select to boot from the virtual floppy disk in the startup menu when the computer starts.

Ah! Long time no see our little De. So glad to see our lovely De again, heh heh heh... Back to the topic: Haven't used Vista, can't Vista edit the boot menu automatically or manually like 2000, XP?

The moderator doesn't know. You can completely use virtual machines like VM, isn't it okay to play however you want? Don't believe it, do you still want to use DOS for work. It's just research and development, simple is fine. Grub is a very useful multi - system boot software, why not use it?

First, use BOOTSECT to change the boot mode to 52, and then it will be the same as XP. Warning: I can't guarantee whether Vista can boot after using BOOTSECT, because I've never tried it.
