Hello, Admin: I know very little about DOS. I've been browsing your forum for two days and feel I've benefited a lot. But there are still a few things I don't understand: 1. When you talk about installing DOS 7.1, do you mean installing it to the hard disk? How do you install it? I think booting with a boot disk is very slow; 2. What can DOS do? There is some domestic software that has to be used in 98—can it be used in DOS? For domestic software that uses a dongle, can DOS handle that?

MS-DOS 7.10 can be installed to the hard disk. That's how I use it myself... As for dongles, that depends on the specific case—some are for use under DOS, and some are for use under Windows.
