Our company has pulled a telecom network cable, but because the boss's wife restricts internet access, we can only use the allowed machine as a proxy server to access the internet through the proxy.
But today, someone from telecom called the boss's wife saying that you only pulled one cable, but it was found that there were seven or eight machines surfing the internet in the past two months, and they require either disconnecting or adding money. Telecom is getting more and more excessive. It only allows one machine to be online, as if having two more machines can give them more bandwidth.
I think he can check how many machines we have online, it must be by scanning MAC addresses, but can MAC addresses be hidden? I'm afraid camouflaging is possible.
Which expert can give some pointers, otherwise tomorrow the cat will be out of the bag and we won't be able to access the internet!
Anxious to the point of wanting to go crazy - there are still people who don't allow internet access in this era~~
By the way, we use the ccproxy software for proxy internet access.

I think you should resort to legal means to solve this problem. As you said, the telecommunication company didn't increase the bandwidth just because you have a few more machines (except when you share a network cable with others), so they have no right to restrict you from using multiple machines to access the Internet, and they can't win the case no matter which level of court you sue in.

The problem you encountered is probably the so-called extremely powerful Net Sentry. I've never encountered it because I've always used a Netcom line. The solution seems to have been seen on the Internet before (you can search for "Net Sentry" on Google), but there doesn't seem to be a very effective solution.

Go ask here. I don't understand the specific principle either, but it seems that you can prevent telecommunication scanning by replacing the device.

I don't know where the original poster is. Here, our telecom never cares. I use a wired/wireless router to access the Internet, and a total of six machines can be connected. The telecom doesn't come to manage me either. The original poster is really pitiful ^
