My machine is a 386, a Compaq laptop, and I installed Windows 3.1.请问 can I install Windows NT 3.1?

It should be installable, but it requires a relatively large hard disk space, hundreds of megabytes. But it's very fast.

Oh, is that so! Then how much hard disk space is needed for the minimal installation of Windows NT 3.1? My machine is either 286 or 386, it's a Compaq notebook, and it has Windows 3.2 installed. The hard disk is 84M. May I ask if it can be installed?

Can't install, the hard drive is too small! Only 500M is enough Memory is at least 16M CPU minimum is 486

As long as the machine supports it. My machine has a Celeron CPU and 512MB of memory, and it can still run Windows 3.2 and 3.11.

Also, if it really doesn't work, you can install it in Virtual PC. The 386 is too old! If possible, keep it for collection. It must sell for a lot at auction!
