From what I’ve observed these days about our forum and DOS Home, I’ve found that the more popular posts are still those that can directly solve people’s real problems, especially problems under Windows (solved with DOS). It seems that developing new DOS still requires a lot of work and there is still a long road ahead! It can’t be done overnight. So what we need to do now is post more about DOS’s simple, practical functions and posts that solve users’ difficult problems. This should count as our primary task for now, right?

Actually, it’s all because of the way things have been publicized domestically. If you go look at DOS forums abroad, the situation definitely isn’t like this.

That also depends on the actual situation. DOS development in China started late, there isn’t a large user base of highly skilled users, and they’re not easy to get in touch with either. For example, internet fees have only dropped to a fairly reasonable level in these past two or three years.

It’s the same when you look at how free software is being developed in our country, so we should have more contact with them and set common goals.
