XP is too bloated, how do you slim it down

xp really is quite good to use, but it’s a bit too large. The initial installation is 1.3g. If you use the activation-free English 2600 + Chinese localization pack, it will be even larger. I gathered the experience of many experts online together with my own opinions and created the ultimate XP slimming method, and I’m sharing it here with everyone.
1. Delete the system file backup sfc.exe /purgecache （ordinary users generally don’t use it much）
2 Delete the driver backup, the Driver.cab file under the windowsdriver cachei386 directory （73mb)
3. Turn off System Restore
（overall, System Restore is still a pretty good feature. It’s recommended to use it only on the partition where XP is installed, and not on the other partitions. If one day your hard disk space is not enough, you can delete some earlier restore points through the system cleanup program）
4、Delete the help files （cuts more than 40mb) （if you use the Chinese localization pack, the file size is 92MB. If you’ve just started using XP, you’d better not delete it）
5、Delete the files under WINDOWSsystem32dllcache （reduces 200——300mb).
（These are backup dll files. As long as you copied the installation files, you can completely do this.
Since you’re deleting like this, I’ve got nothing more to say）
6、Move My Documents and IE’s temporary folder to another drive （partition）.
（at the same time this is also good for system speed and the hard disk. If you’re using a dual-boot system, it’s best to put the IE temporary files of both systems in the same folder. That way it both speeds things up and saves space）
7、Move the virtual memory to another drive as well. （Best is to put these things together with your usual temporary downloaded files in a not-too-large partition, which also makes it convenient to organize the hard disk）
8、Install application software on another drive （this is also good when reinstalling the system, and can save a lot of trouble）.
9、Delete the unused input methods under windowsime! （Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese input methods, 84.5MB）
（You can figure out which is which yourself! Sometimes you also need to use your own brain a bit, take it as training!）
10、If you install xp with ntfs, that itself saves disk space.
Note: deleting some files may have potential risks. If you don’t know much about windows, please use this method cautiously. If something goes wrong, I take no responsibility. （Before operating, go to Folder Options and set file viewing to show all files and show protected operating system files, otherwise some files can’t be found）
In principle, we do not support slimming down the system like this. It is only for players to learn and understand. If your machine has important data, please back it up first. Then try it.
