Yes, I've been using it all the time. Under Windows 2000, you need to use the FOR NT version.

Use that software, provided that you do not write data to the hard disk after formatting it.

"FinalData OEM v2.0 Simplified Chinese Version" is absolutely useful!!!!!
Software Introduction: When deleting a file under the Windows environment, only the directory information is deleted from the FAT or MFT (NTFS). This means that the file data still remains on your disk. So, technically speaking, this file can be recovered. FinalData recovers lost data through this mechanism, and this is the case even after emptying the recycle bin. In addition, FinalData can easily recover data from formatted files and files damaged by viruses. Even in extreme cases, if the directory structure is partially damaged, data can still be recovered as long as the data is still on the hard disk. To ensure a high recovery rate on Windows 2000 and XP, file protection and deletion detection must be installed in advance in the system, which can be achieved by installing FinalData 2.0.
