Today the FreeDOS kernel released the latest 2030 version, so I formally installed it on my own hard disk, using the boot menu built into WinXP (Chinese) to implement multi-boot. The menu now includes:
MS-DOS 7.10 + Windows 3.x/9x MS-DOS 8.0 + Windows ME Windows XP Professional Windows XP Professional Recovery Console Windows 2K Professional ROM-DOS 7.10 GNU/FreeDOS (the latest 2030 kernel) Boot from floppy disk Boot from CD-ROM Although this FreeDOS only has the kernel and COMMAND installed, it already shows the characteristics of FreeDOS quite well... It really wasn't easy... |
