Draft of the DOS Union Constitution (Amendment)

I. Nature of the DOS Union
The DOS Union is a non-political, non-economic loose volunteer organization spontaneously formed by DOS enthusiasts依托 the Internet, composed of all affiliated members (individuals and personal websites).
The DOS Union Forum is the central base for the activities of union members. Basically, all registered members of the forum are regarded as affiliated members.

II. Objectives of the DOS Union
The objective of the DOS Union is to unite the majority of DOS enthusiasts for cooperation and communication, publicize DOS in the Chinese world, promote DOS, and drive the development of DOS, aiming to achieve common progress. The ultimate objective is to drive the development of computer applications and levels among Chinese people, so that computers can better serve our national interests. The DOS Union does not exclude any non-DOS operating systems.

III. Relationship between the Union and Members
The relationship between the union and affiliated members (individuals or websites) is a loose cooperative relationship rather than a general subordinate relationship. Generally, members can join or withdraw from the union without the restriction of the union or other union members.
The union does not seek economic interests, and does not allow affiliated members to seek illegal economic interests or infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of others, nor does it allow members to have words and deeds that violate laws and traditional morals. Members who seriously violate principles will be expelled and condemned. Since the union does not have real binding force on members, the union will never make any form of commitment or guarantee for the actions of any affiliated member at any time.

IV. Rights and Obligations of DOS Union Members
DOS members have the right to ask questions on various issues, express their own opinions and insights, and should be respected by other members. The union does not tolerate any discriminatory and insulting personal attacks against any member.
Union members have the obligation to ensure the normal operation and healthy development of the DOS Union, not to use the DOS Union to obtain illegal and immoral interests, not to make obscene remarks or remarks that do not conform to moral norms, and not to make insulting personal attacks.

V. DOS Union and Copyright
The union acknowledges that it has quoted materials or software that are not of its own copyright, but guarantees that it will not be used for commercial purposes. If you think that the union's quotation of your software or materials infringes upon your copyright, please inform the union, and the union (or affiliated member) will delete them as soon as possible.
For the union's own copyright software or materials, other websites are welcome to quote them, but it is necessary to indicate the author or source.

VI. Management of the DOS Union
The management of the union adopts the way of council management. 5-10 members are selected from affiliated individual members as council members to be responsible for the management and operation of the union. The council will handle divergent opinions in accordance with the principle of minority submitting to the majority. Council members are re-elected by members every year.

VII. Relationship between the DOS Union and Non-union DOS-related Websites
The DOS Union regards all non-union DOS-related websites as friendly websites with the same objectives. The DOS Union welcomes other DOS websites to exchange reciprocal links, carry out various mutually beneficial cooperations, and even share some resources.

VIII. Other Regulations
The DOS Union welcomes individuals, units, etc. to provide website space, FTP space, message boards, forums, etc. for the union or members as non-monetary sponsorships.

Does it mean that the general registered users of this forum are also affiliated members? Or does it refer to the general registered users of the future "DOS Union" website?

I think that since the China DOS Union is just a loose organization and the joint forum is the main activity place of the DOS forum, it is better to generally regard the registered members of the forum as members of the union.
