To use multi-system boot on a single floppy disk, for example MS-DOS 7.1, ROM-DOS 7.1, and so on, you can use some boot managers to do it, such as GRUB, SysLinux, etc. But they each have some advantages and disadvantages, so let's discuss which boot manager is best to use..

If you're making a CD, I recommend using DISKEMU. You can have as many systems as you want.

There was still a need for it before today, but starting today that may no longer be the case. The reasons are as follows: Both ROM-DOS and MS-DOS have very good compatibility, but ROM-DOS supports logical locking, while MS-DOS does not; MS-DOS supports UMB and hard disk partitions after drive H:, but this demo version of ROM-DOS does not support that (the full version does). This kind of complementarity is very important for an "emergency disk." However, since today I have made MS-DOS 7.10 support logical locking as well, dual boot with ROM-DOS and MS-DOS is no longer quite so necessary. However, the "boot from hard disk" and "boot from CD" functions in the boot menu are still very useful sometimes..
