I have an IBM laptop. P4 1.9 256M, installed with WIN XP system, and also installed OFFICE XP system. It was all fine at the beginning. But recently it suddenly doesn't work well. After starting WORD or other OFFICE programs, it all says "The document is locked and cannot be edited". How should this be dealt with?

Is it because you used an unactivated Office XP? Or it's infected with a macro virus. I'm also using a laptop and Office XP, and there's no problem.

I can't tell the difference now. There was no problem before, and such an event suddenly happened. How should I activate it if I need to?

Go to the next VLK version of Office XP. I'm also using a laptop now. I recently installed WinXP and Office XP and a lot of other software on four laptops and there were no problems. So, it's estimated that you've used Office XP 50 times and need to activate it. If you can't download the VLK version, you can find a crack software. Search "Office XP crack" on www.baidu.com and you'll find it : )

There is a problem with the cracking. Find a correctly cracked OFFICEXP disc and just overwrite that cracking file.
