Virtual Sound Blaster v2.02 This is a program written by Andrew Zabolotny a long time ago when few people owned Sound Blaster's but many had Covoxes and similar things. It will emulate a real Sound Blaster (1.x) on PC-Speaker or on a Covox. The emulation is relatively accurate, but FM synthesizer is not supported, thus it will play only digital sound. It's downloaded, installed, but the effect is very poor. Basically, it can't be used.

I found a software a long, long time ago that was said to be able to simulate a sound card using the Speaker. At that time, the machine I used didn't have a sound card. I was excited for a long time after getting it, but no matter how I adjusted it, I couldn't get any sound out. Now I'm too lazy to take the sound card apart and try again.
