When it's more than halfway through booting, there's a choice
The default is pc-cache; if I pick it, it just stops there and won't move?? Tried it in VMware why? It used to be fine, but after I installed VMware it started giving errors |

There is an important notice in the boot disk's README.TXT instruction file:
"Note: This boot disk is best used in real mode, and should not be used in virtual machines (especially Virtual PC), because bugs in them (the virtual machines) themselves can cause this boot disk to fail to boot normally." |
