I use the MS-DO super boot disk, and after selecting the third and fourth items to boot, it displays: UHCI USB Controller initialized(I/O 0×600, IRQ disabled). I am connecting an IBM 2.0 mobile hard drive and have tried it on multiple computers, but it doesn't work! May I ask all the seniors, what's the matter????

UHCI USB Controller initialized means that the USB interface has been successfully initialized. Just proceed to the next step of operation.

Got it, thanks!!! There are a total of two sentences. I still don't understand the second sentence, and pressing Enter ·##¥…#·# and so on can't proceed, the machine is like dead. Dizzy!

Then what is the second sentence? Can you copy it here?

How should I answer this? Two months ago, I already asked Teacher Wengier about this problem. Actually, the system has already found the USB device, but it just can't load it. The main reason is that 16-bit DOS is incompatible with 32-bit USB. It is suggested that Teacher Wengier try 32-bit FREEDOS, but there is another driver issue.

Thanks to all colleagues for your support, especially the timely reply from the webmaster (I'm really flattered)! Thanks!! The second sentence is (I/O 0×600, IRQ disabled) But now the problem has been solved. I deleted the DUSE.EXE file in the boot floppy and then used the third item to start, and successfully found the mobile hard disk: : Hehe : : So happy ·#~~.

Why did I delete the DUSE.EXE file from the boot floppy and then use the third item to boot, but couldn't find the mobile hard drive. Please help me!

Use it together with UDSE4.6. I have used the 2.0 USB Patriot hard drive and the 1.1 one, both running smoothly!!!

May I ask what is the capacity of your Patriot hard drive? Can it boot?

2.0 is 30G, 1.1 is 10G, can boot up, but need motherboard support. However, I think the function of USB hard disk is not to install OS, heh heh

I. Try booting with the fourth item;
II. Try several drive letters under DOS~~The drive letter of the mobile hard disk is at the last one.
If it still doesn't work~~~~I don't know, let's see what the super moderator says!!!

It seems that DUSE is not a good thing. Anyway, I get a system crash when I load DUSE with the third or fourth boot, and there is no response for a long time. Many friends in the forum also have this phenomenon. The method of you deleting DUSE is worthy of promotion, and I will also give it a try
