There are two networks in the unit (temporarily named Network One and Network Two), and one of my servers is connected to both networks. It is required that the two networks cannot be connected simultaneously. My server is usually connected to Network One. There is a fixed time period every day when it is necessary to disconnect Network One and connect it to Network Two (automatic switching), and after the time period, it must switch back to connect to Network One and disconnect Network Two. How can this be achieved with commands (or batch processing)? Thank you.

It's not about changing the IP but disabling one connection and enabling another. (The server has two network cards, connected to two networks respectively.) [ Last edited by oudong on 2008-3-17 at 05:29 PM ]

Personally, I think using a switch is more appropriate. There are settings for configuring time in the switch, such as Cisco's.
