I just made a boot disk with a full GUI graphical interface for Qube. The system uses the FreeDOS kernel and has the following important features:

1: Full support for large hard disks, large memory, FAT32, IDE CD-ROM drives, mouse, etc.;
2: Uses the 1.44MB floppy disk format and boots directly into the GUI graphical interface;
3: Uses the GRUB boot loader, and at startup you can directly choose from the menu whether to boot from floppy disk, hard disk, or CD-ROM;
4: The most important point is that this time the whole system is based on the GNU free software platform (such as the GRUB boot loader, FreeDOS system kernel, Qube graphical interface, etc.), so there are absolutely no copyright issues! After all, free software is the direction software is developing in。。

Supporting long filenames is not a problem. Just load a DOSLFN, and Qube will support long filenames.

Not recognizing my hard disk files is the biggest problem.

When booting, after loading the mouse driver, there is a "file not found" message. Need to check it. Also, my hard disk is partitioned into C (ntfs), D and E (FAT32). But after booting, only logical drive D is loaded, and it is normal to view, but there are still problems with file copying and other operations. Generally speaking, the support for the file system on my hard disk is not good. In other aspects, such as the production of the boot disk, the interface, etc., they are all very good.
