To check a webpage's IP, you just enter `ping www.------.com`, which gets you the webpage's IP. Actually, using `netstat -n 5` to check ports every five seconds is better.

Also, if you want to make the other party disconnect, you can use: ping -l 25500 -t ip. Here, 25500 is the file size sent, and this can make the other party disconnect.
