terse, the test succeeded, but if I enter 2008-03-13 it doesn't work!

I found the problem in the code on post #5: for /f "tokens=1,3* delims= " %%i in ('dir /s /a-d /tc "%%i:\*.exe"^\|findstr "2008-03"') do ( the red part should be %%a
