In the past, when we used QV under the TW Chinese character system, the computer would crash as soon as we viewed an image. This problem has never been solved.

Among the Chinese character systems, the only one that has no conflict with QV is ghos, but it conflicts with HD - copy, EMM386, etc. Especially, it conflicts with EMM386, which leads to some sound card drivers not being able to be installed. For example, this is the case with my home's sblive sound card.

Now, I finally found the solution to the problem!

First, load the sound card driver and TW, then load ghos. In this way, there will be no problem of not being able to load ghos due to EMM386!

First, rename QV to QV246. Then, write a batch file named QV for easy use:

cd ghos

From now on, as soon as we run QV, ghos will be automatically loaded. After QV exits, ghos is automatically unloaded.

Back to the TW Chinese character system.
