After entering pure DOS, I type e: and press Enter, but it shows invalid drive specificarion. If I enter DOS from a boot disk, it can show the CD-ROM drive letter.
Asking for advice! How can I make the CD-ROM drive show up after entering pure DOS? |

You need to load the CD-ROM driver. Take a look at some articles about using DOS.

The key is that you have to load the CD-ROM driver.

Because the boot disk loads the driver in CONFIG.SYS, but your pure DOS doesn't. You just need to add it in CONGIG.SYS.
