I think computers are for people to use, but not everyone is proficient with computers. There are just too many so-called computer idiots, so I think that in developing a FREE operating system, the first things to solve are ease of installation and ease of use. At present there are many graphical systems based on FreeDOS, and I think developing a Chinese-enabled operating system is already very mature. We can tackle some Chinese add-ons for DOS-based graphical operating systems, then collect and screen application software, make a complete operating system/application software collection, burn it into a bootable CD image file and release it on the Internet, achieving completely foolproof installation. As for usage, we should adopt a method that imitates WINDOWS. I believe that only then will DOS applications get rid of their outdated situation.
