Probably the Most Beginner-Friendly on Earth──PClinuxOS
Nowadays, the name of PClinuxOS should be well-known. This system has long been at the top of the attention list for Linux systems. It's unthinkable if it doesn't have its remarkable features. On its Chinese homepage, it is introduced as: "PClinuxOS is a fully open-source Linux version, originally developed based on Mandriva. Through the unremitting efforts of the PClinuxOS team, it is increasingly attracting the attention of many Linux enthusiasts. Adhering to the concept of simplicity, ease of use, and worry-free security, PClinuxOS has gradually grown into a stable and mature version. Without the help of large companies, the development team of PClinuxOS has miraculously pushed such a civilian Linux version to the peak of the Linux world, and also made the open-source and free spirit of Linux shine with extreme brilliance." Since I entered the Linux system, I have been paying attention to this almost magical system. Today, I finally made up my mind to try this system and suddenly found that: PClinuxOS may originally be the most beginner-friendly Linux system on Earth!
Next, I will share my superficial experiences of installing and using PClinuxOS.
1. Installation
I downloaded it from here http://www.pclinuxos.cn/forum/viewtopic.php?t=349. I installed the RT3 version, which is the latest (possibly also the last) Chinese test version. Here are its file information.

The total ISO image file is 700MB, and the download was very fast, taking more than an hour. After downloading, I verified it with HASH and then started burning the disc for installation. From the moment the boot screen appeared, I was strongly震撼ed by its beautiful and gorgeous cosmic boot image! The installation process is basically the same as other distributions. After the disc boots, it directly enters the LIVECD desktop. Then, log in with the ROOT account and find that commonly used program shortcuts have been placed on the desktop. Then, click the INSTALL icon on the desktop to start the hard disk installation. The installation was very fast, taking about ten minutes. After restarting, I entered my user desktop and found that more application icons were automatically placed on the desktop. I am used to a clean desktop, so I right-clicked to open the settings and canceled the display of desktop icons. OK, all icons disappeared.
Then, I opened related program settings one by one and found that: the system had automatically installed all basic environments from settings to applications, and all were Chineseized. Especially the default system theme beautification was already very beautiful; daily applications such as QQ, MSN, AMAROK, SMPLAYER, FIREFOX, and even audio and video codecs were all available. Of course, there was also the pride of our Linux world, COMPIZFUSION, which was already automatically installed in the system. Click to start it directly, and no need to compile it by myself at all.
From this, I have to praise this system that is considerate. From this, I dare to make a comment: PClinuxOS--probably the most beginner-friendly Linux system on Earth!
