I've always wanted to try the new version, not knowing what functions have been added compared to 8.3. Some people say that version 11 can't do what version 8.3 can, and vice versa. Just the ghostexp.exe and ghostsrv.exe are Chinese - localized, others are original.
Actually, I usually use 8.3 because it's smaller in size.

Go to emule and search for Symantec Ghost Solution Suite.

There are sources of 2.0 and 2.0.1. After installation, update to 2.0.2 via liveupdate, and the Ghost version is 11.02.

I didn't read the documentation carefully. The complete GSS should be an enterprise deployment platform. Usually, general users only use its network ghost function. Those complex functions need additional licenses. During the installation process, you can also write the information you filled in on the Ghost.exe startup interface, but I don't think this is real registration, and I don't know if there are restrictions in the actual production process. Because after liveupdate, a ghost.env will be generated in the installation directory, which has a description of maxpc. Hehe, it's a cracked version, can't help it.

When Windows 11 first came out, some friends said it could, but I had very little knowledge in this area and didn't know how to describe it.
That is to say, the image made from the Windows 11 version may be able to be restored across platforms, for example, you create it from an Intel platform and can restore it to an AMD platform. Of course, this is just a rumor, and I haven't actually tested it.

As for comparing compression speeds and such, I don't think it's of much practical significance. New versions certainly support more hardware platforms, more operating system backups, and fix more software bugs in actual applications, rather than just performing well on old platforms in terms of speed.

Ghost has never had a Chinese version. Actually, the 8.3 format is also quite handy.
