China DOS Union

Project #4 of the China DOS Union boot disk project — the MiniWin3 boot disk — is basically complete, and has now been successfully expanded into a fully Chinese MiniWindows 3.2 boot disk. Below is an introduction to its 10 major features:

1: It can boot into Windows 3.2 from a single ordinary floppy disk, and making it is also very easy;
2: Full support for large hard disks, FAT12/16/32 partitions, various IDE CD-ROM drives, mouse operation, etc.;
3: Windows uses a fully Chinese interface, and the fonts are also very nice-looking and friendly;
4: Full support for Chinese input, including the two common input methods, Pinyin and Wubi;
5: The DOS part has various functions such as saving/restoring WIN settings, restarting/shutting down the computer, etc.;
6: It uses multitasking and multi-window operation, making it convenient to switch tasks;
7: It already includes fully Chinese Win programs such as File Manager, Control Panel, Notepad, etc.;
8: Under the WIN interface, it can run most existing Chinese and English Win3.x programs, such as Win3.x programs on the hard disk;
9: It supports running various DOS programs in multiple DOS windows (or in full-screen DOS mode) at the same time, switching tasks, etc., so it can also be regarded as a multitasking DOS system;
10: Strong expandability — you can freely add icons and DOS/WIN shortcuts in “Program Manager,” etc. For example, if it is made into a 2.88MB floppy boot image for CD use, then a lot more content can be added!

Actually, the Simplified Chinese MiniWin3.2 doesn't have this problem. Just take a look at the settings in that WIN.INI file.
