For your configP.Mnu, do all the files have to be placed in the root directory of the disk??? I created a SYSTEM directory and put the various drivers in this subdirectory, but it gives an error when booting!!!!
Urgently waiting for an answer!!!!!!!!!!

16j.dot should be placed in the root directory. If the other drivers are not in the root directory, you should add the path. For example
device=c:\system\xxxxxx

Thanks, YAYA, expert!!! So it turns out I also had to add the drive letter. I directly used the form DEVICE=SYSTEM\XXXXX. I thought configP.Mnu would automatically look for the drivers in the current directory!!!!

Answering your question.....

You actually can directly use the form device=system\xxxx.... unless you typed the path wrong
If you're afraid of typing the path wrong, you can use device=\system\xxxx
