These days, DOS discussions are no longer about pure DOS. They're all about the command line in CMD mode under win2000, winxp, etc., which is really disappointing. In the future, pure DOS will disappear.

DOS stands for freedom, openness and progress. Let us work hard, learn from the openness and GNU spirit of FreeDOS and Linux, and together build and grow a free GNU GPL world!

Make a virtual floppy with DOS boot, attach it to NT's boot menu, and you can use DOS every day!!!
What did you think DOS is for? I think it's only for assistance and for solving some functions when needed. Do you use DOS to go online? Watch DVDs with DOS too? Make richly illustrated documents with DOS too?

I don't object to discussing these issues, but if they have nothing to do with DOS then it's better not to bring them to a DOS forum for discussion. There are plenty of places like that online.

But a lot of people really are discussing non-DOS stuff here,
and don't we also have non-DOS sections!
