I ran “LIMD WB.IMD”, but why does it always say something like “IMD file error”? Could the path be wrong?

Yes, the path is wrong. You should put WB.IMD under C:\UCDOS\DRV.

OK, after modifying it a bit, it works now. But I found what seems to be a big problem with UCDOS: after running it, EDIT can't select blocks (that is, using Shift plus the arrow keys, or using the mouse to select). What's going on?

I haven't tried it. Are you using UCDOS98? It's modified, so there may be some problems because of that.
Or maybe it's just that the cursor is invisible; try whether copy and paste operations still work.

I've used both UCDOS 6.0 and UCDOS98, and neither works. And it's not just invisible—it simply isn't there at all (normal copy and paste both have no effect).
