It seems that on computers nowadays, USB is increasingly becoming the standard general-purpose interface.

If you're doing embedded stuff, then you can add an IC yourself plus a driver and then you can operate USB. The IC is CH375, the driver is already developed by the manufacturer, and if you want to write the low-level part yourself there is also an API interface.

Is there any specific program? That DUSE seems to be pretty hard to use with a USB flash drive.
